It's my last day in London! The New Year will find me in a new job role! (Dunno what yet though...)

Nah, a nice cuppa Yorkshire Tea!

(Tea just doesn't taste right down here... I blame the water.)

Apparently, people like the people at Yorkshire Tea, blend different blends for different waters - but the supermarkets can't cope with that distributionwise, so they get a single 'bodged' blend....

My London-based tea-making is also somewhat limited by what teabags I can snaffle from the hotel... Twinings Everyday blend isn't the worst I've tasted...

Here in Norfolk the water is seriously hard. Almost pure chalk coming out of the taps... We can get Yorkshire Tea's hard water blend in the supermarkets and it does make a decent cuppa.

WCMnr is doing his dissertation over the Christmas/NewYear break.

Starting Dec 27, The lounge of Chateau Wafflycat will be completely redecorated. WCMnr will not be doing that, MrWC & I will be.

I've been home now for 25mins and still can't feel my toes!
Two pairs of thermal socks and sealskinz over the top of them and the chill is still getting thru.
Gotta go out again in a little while so can't be bothered to take off my riding garb.

I sense a nice warm bath in the offing later.

I dread to think how cold it is in St. Ephenage, it's -2 with the wind chill down here!

Help! I think the tops of my ears have snapped off!

Supervised WCMnr's driving again today. Once out there the temperature dropped and the snow/hail came down. WCMnr was very sensible and drove according to the road conditions. He's definitely coming along nicely.
