Confuddling. There's a lot of choice. Hopefully we'll be able to make use of the scrappage scheme. Landslide Towers is going to be looking like a building site for a bit longer than we were hoping for though! ;)

:smile::thumbsup:

You must be very proud!

Just spoke to my sister. Oli is, as we all believed, a genius. He was at a friend's house, playing in the kitchen with the fridge magnet letters. He came and got my sister, saying "come and see!". He pointed at the fridge and said "I made a caterpillar!" And he had. A row of random letters in a line bunched up tightly together, with several other letters underneath, spaced out, for legs.

And the other day, after seeing a Cbeebies programme where they made a picture of a tree using clothes and bits of cloth, he did a picture of a tree out of his train track, track for branches and all the green and yellow trains and wagons for leaves, all by himself.

We think he's ready for fuzzyfelts.

Ooh imagine a whole fuzzy felt wall!:smile::wacko:

It looks good so far! Especially the tea towl used to conceal the identity of the boiler.:biggrin:

I have been known to resort to the camping gas when the meter runs out.:biggrin:

Can you still get fuzzyfelts or have you kept yours? :smile:

You can still get them. I have no idea if Mum still has ours, I don't think so. It looks like the modern ones have lots of sets that are more specific, like Bob the Builder, but we had the sillouette type with some recognisable shapes (like jungle animals) and some geometric shapes for more random creation, and those are the best I think. Plus, it would be nice for him to have something that wasn't Thomas branded.

Ouch Arch! Hope you're not too badly bruised.

Landslide - you have quite a project on your hands. Best to get it all out the way before you move in though so you're not having to live with the mess.

Too late! We need to be out of our rented property by the 25th! :ohmy:
Good luck! We moved out of our rented place and into our house just at the point where the plumber had to switch off all the water...before getting called away to an emergency job for 24 hours :blush:

Luckily the outdoor loo was still connected.

Our Vaillant combi boiler seems to be very good though :biggrin:
