Tdrinka, I think that plasterers like their tea with skimmed milk.

* ponders what "ningles" means *

Something to do with eating too many Pringles most likely. Those sweaters are difficult to chew & swallow.

And to answer Speichers question,

Morning! / Evening! => 'ning! => Ningles!

Afternoon/evening..

That's the lounge carpet shampooed. I am not overly impressed with the new carpet shampooing machine. Not as good as the old one. The heating is now on full blast and the windows opened to assist a swift drying of the carpet of residual dampness.

Tea up!

Great news today, it's about time isn't it?!
As of the end of next week I'm working at the office two days a week for Wheels For Wellbeing, as well as instructing at our sessions!

It's only until March but it will help to start balancing my finances.

Thank you, thank you!

I might even put the heating on to celebrate.

And yes Doc, we will.

I'd also like to do the overnight ride to Norfolk if Waffles doesn't mind us arriving for breakfast.

Sounds good to me.
I'd sooner do an overnight ride towards the spring, once it's warmed up and I've got a little fitter.

Yay plus 1!

Evening all. God what a day. Loads of stuff to be collected, and the slush is clearing steadily, thanks to the constant downpour. By lunchtime, I was wet right through - despite wearing waterproof top layers. When I got home, about 5ish, I peeled everything off, shoved it in the shower and then showered while trampling it, to get the worst of the grime out. Felt a bit more human then, and have left it all in the bath to soak. Then I ingested a pasty, red cabbage and mash - 'ate' would imply that I savoured, or even chewed, it...

Still, I've booked the two days off I need to go on the works outing to Spezi in April, hoorah! Never been on a rockstar tourbus before....

Tea?

<Sips cuppa and leans over> In this weather? You'll catch your death <concerned> Not to mention the extra heating costs <skin flint mode>
