Arch, will it be shiny and luminous pink/orange?

It will!;)

Congratulations on the sofa Waffles, and commiserations for Mrs Ianrauk - she must be fed up with the wait. My sister at least has a date booked for the C-section, so it can only come earlier than that.

I'll put the kettle on in a mo, just finishing my supper...

The last days of waiting are the longest...

At least there's a new sofa to stem the disappointment while you wait for the table. Are you having to dine off each other?

I'm not a kiss & tell sort of girl...

Off to the otis Grand gig this evening with MrWC & WC Mnr, so we should have an excellent time. Hurrah!

right on cookie... just spent an hour cleaning the commuter so a nice cuppa would be very nice.

I thought for a moment you said cleaning the computer....

Hmm, yes, another cuppa, just about the right time.

Got my sister's birthday presents today (it's actually her birthday today, I'd had to ring up midweek and apologise for not being organised (and what did she want?)) She said there were some nice makeup bags in Cath Kidston, with a rose pattern on. There were indeed - although there were about 6 different rose patterns, I hope I've chosen right....

When she rang this morning to give me this hint, she said she was looking at trains. Obviously Oli has chosen her birthday activity. In the background I could hear a little voice saying "Oli want to live on a train!" and then "Oli want to be a Pendolino!"

I picked something else up this morning. N+1....

Morning!

I'm on my second cuppa already, the first one went down without touching the sides, along with a bacon sarnie. Off out for a pootle to the pub for lunch later.

Meanwhile, thinking about luggage alternatives for the trike. Standard racks look daft on the 20" rear wheel, and I suspect a custom one will be pricy, so I'm wondering if I can arrange some 'slung either side of the seat' type bags, without paying a couple of hundred for the Radical or Arkel sort. I'm having ideas about saddlebags and spare toestraps...

Canvas knapsacks from an army surplus shop are quite cheap, strong and capacious. A pair of those held together with the straps they come with should make a sling-it-across-the-seat pair of panniers for not-too-many of your Earth pounds...

EDIT - Bugger, cross posted. I see you're sorted already.

Afternoon!

*sips first cuppa of the day*

What a lazy thing I am. Late night after last night's *most wonderful* night out at an Otis Grand gig. What an amazing evening of blues. Otis really makes that guitar *sing* and shares the stage with a truly great band of musicians. A thoroughly excellent evening of music. Even WCMnr appreciates seriously good blues :becool:

*wants!*

The hole where Stephenage was, not the stove.:biggrin:

I must get one of those stoves, our old Camping Gaz set is brilliant but rather bulky.

Tea up!

Miss t had her first mini CC ride today!
After meet Ianrauk, Mistral, Bent Mikey & Ergle this morning we were later visited by ttcycle who swung home via The Towers for tea and bikkits and then joined Miss t & I for a gentle pootle round the park!

Miss t is very chuffed!
