Thanks very much Landslide, I will partake of a brew. Any bickies? I am like you in that I will be back at the grindstone tomorrow at 07.00.

Chocolate fingers OK?

I think 7am's a bit over-enthusiastic for me, but we're off to meet the wine merchant for our wedding in the evening, so a late start/late finish should work out well.

Are you saying that, since all our leg bones are in the "correct" places, Homo Sapiens are no good at running? ;)

Wel, if you don't mind, I won't be having a fiver on you in this years Grand National...

No, it's not the position of the leg bones, so much, as the relative length. We run better than an Orang Utan - but then they outpace us in the swinging from trees department.

Any tea going? I've got a chicken kiev in the oven. It'll be another 20 minutes or so...

And down ;)

I'm not liking the new bars on the Brommie very much. I *may* have to change them back.
Drops would be silly, wouldn't they?

Snowdrops, given the freezy nature of the weather today.
The wind went through my fleece like a Tea gathering goes through Jaffa cakes.

Yep lovely snowdrops out and about at the moment. Huge patch of wild snowdrops in a wood I rode past today. And yes that NE wind was a bit chillsome.

So I've brewed a fresh pot - who needs a top up?

Talking of knees - do bees have knees?

Leo is much more settled now, the howling and peculiar growling was getting very tiring on the ears.

Yes, more tea thankyou, and it will go well with the dark choc suggestives. :becool:

Mornings. Migraine meds taken. I hope they work as good as last time, as I was woken in the wee hours due to pain & nausea. Hens & felines sorted. MrWC still giving it BigZs upstairs. Finally got to see Dances With Smurfs last night. Adored it. Visually stunning. Having seen that and The Hurt Locker (I've got THL on Blu-Ray) I can see why, despite the glorious visuals of DWS that THL got the Baftas & Oscars. It's a much better all round film. THL is original and a much better plot even though DWS is visually glorious and wonderfully imagined. DWS is too derivative where THL is original. Saying that I still want DWS when it comes out on Blu-ray as it should be amazing in HD.

Ningles!!!
I did enjoy Avatar. Yes, the plot could have stood a little work, but as escapist science fiction it's stunning. It's just full of eye candy.

Yes indeed Bees have Knees. And Dogs have B*ll*cks, Brass Monkeys have B*lls and there are those who have Bats in the Belfry, so I'm informed :birthday:

Nice cuppa this. Please pass the suggestives
