I was pleasantly surprised by the Ovlov. I was comfortable, frugal, quiet, nippy when it needed to be...

I'm sure you're comfortable, frugal and nippy. I somehow doubt you're all that quiet...

Well, subject to the test drive & paperwork being completed, we are purchasing an Ovlov s40 1.6D DRIVe R Design, with metallic paint, winter pack and driver information centre. Gustav is a handsome boy.

A 1.6 diesel with £35 VED? That's impressive.
I see it has the Ford diesel - drove one of those a few years ago in a Peugot on holiday. Very smooth and quiet, as diesels go.
Will a bike go in it, though???

Course it will.

Whether the rest of the WC clan will as well...? ;)

Yup, it's the DRIVe model, which is the very fuel efficient diesel. Urban 49.6mpg, Extra Urban 74.3mpg, Combined 62.8mpg CO2 119g/km. Boot is cavenous and back seats do move too. Not as versitile as having an estate, but it is ideal for MrWC's work. Potentially over 800 miles on one tank of fuel.

Evening all. Just popping in quickly before bedtime - which is about now...

Busy day today - we went to the ball pit, and the shops, and then we made biscuits, and painted, and watched Here comes the Train...

That lot took all day!

Oli is, as ever, a delight. And so is Max, although he's less interested in mixing biscuit dough. Or eating biscuits.

Anyway, best go, might well be up at 6 tomorrow...

Morning!

Rather pleasant here in deepest rural Norfolk too. MrWC has to revise for some exams to be taken next week. To give him lots of peace & quiet, WCMnr & I are spending the day out together. It's MrWC's birthday on Saturday (he'll be seriously ancient.. but lovely) so today will give WCMnr a chance to buy his dad's birthday present.
