I made some soup today. I had bought some "mangetout" but did not like them - too much pod and not enough pea, and did not want to waste them. So with some left over base/hard bit of Chinese leaves, and two potatoes I made the soup.
Ah ha, thought I, instead of putting in some vegetable stock cubey stuff, I could use up the tiny bit of peanut butter in the bottom of the jar.
Er well it looks ok, and tastes ok, if you like peanut butter soup, with pea.

Who knew that peanut butter had such a strong taste?
I am wondering if it will freeze and then could be used as a sauce for tuna in peanut sauce. Any suggestions? NB throwing it away is not a option, it tastes different but perfectly edible. It is plenty cold enough for soup at lunchtime.
