Oh, the joy of school holidays. All the embryonic underclass of tomorrow - that is the children of the Tang Hall district - are out on the streets.

Putting 'em up chimneys would be too good for them, little sods.

I wouldn't mind them hanging off the sides of the truck, if I didn't know it'd be me copped it if one went under the wheels.

Tea anyone?

Funnily enough this popped up on my twitter as I was reading this.

@RealNickFallon: AVOID Emmerdale at all costs. You will either get murdered, buggered, robbed, have an inbred relative and have weird friends.

@neilcouper: @RealNickFallon Sounds like York to me.

Spot on!

We are counting the hours to when we give up the Tang Hall rounds to the council and move into doing exclusively the city centre..

In its day, Tang Hall was apparently a model council estate, people came form all over to see how it worked. And even now, it's not exactly tower block hell, just council houses, and semi's at that. But it is chav central.

Strong Tea please!!!

Just arrived home after 20 hours of travelling.

Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Bangkok to Mumbai, Mumbai to Heathrow and Heathrow to Aberdeen. Just in the door now.

Although, the experience has been great and it may lead to a job next year, I hope.

Another quiet day?
Tonight, I have the delightful prospect of a WNRttP
Let's hope it doesn't :rain:

Well, indeed it did :rain: but many  none-the-less
Handy Hint - if you have 20 minutes to do some quick fettling before a ride, DO NOT assume you can fit a new chainset and tweak the front mech.
The chainset will go on
The front mech will shift like a sack of spanners

Ah too late I suspect. She'll have spent all of Mr Waffles hard earned by now.

Right T please.

I'm hungry too - Mrs 26x25 has something on the cooker - hopefully it won't be long.

Might pedal over to the club TT this evening. It's been a while. Well TT's are pretty uninteresting but I can catch up with a few mates there.

I'm just going to cook supper. Riding home I couldn't think what to have, my freezer and fridge need restocking in a big way. But I have mince, and Smash.

Smash nest!

This is a recipe from my childhood. Basically it's mince and onion on gravy, with mash. The nest bit comes from the fact that my Mum always served a ring of mash with the mince in the middle, and decorated the mash by running a fork round it, to make it look like a nest.

Well done!

Nice piece of low fat cake to celebrate?

And black is so slimming. Well, I hope so, my work clothes are all black. Well, black with unidentifiable splodges of various ick.
