It was the tracks that gave it away.
I'm finally beginning to understand how Spiechers mind works on these things.
A little bit. On a good day. When I'm especially clued up...

Clocks? (clockwork ones with lots of wheels inside)

D'Oh Didn't see previous posts

Well done TheDoctor.

So "Thomas the Tank Engine" then

Look, I particularly mentionned that we were looking at the range of buttons for children's garments, then pointed out that bikes had something in common with these buttons, then said about being on the right track. Did you need me to draw you a picture??? ;)

Going back to the Hollyhocks, for a moment, 25 by 26, do the seeds need covering with soil. As Hollyhocks self-seed, I was presuming not. What sort of soil do they like? I have only ever seen them on very poor soil, with lots of stones etc.

Dayvo, are you planning to ask the Cat to choose your team for the Veulta?

Well ours grow in heavy clay soil which has had some compost in it now and again. As for covering the seed - I would, just a little bit, or rain/wind/birds may remove them. The poor soil you mention is probably OK - the stones will assist drainage so less rotting off of the plants (ours tend to rot a bit in cold/heavy/wet clay. If you are very keen grow them in seed trays to get them started and then plant out when weather is OK in spring. Keep slugs and snails away from the young plants.

So - you do the crosswords and I'll do the plants ;)

How do you spell my name?

Oops
It's a very small keyboard on the netbook (Samsung NC10) and it's quite easy to mistype.
I must get an external keyboard for it really.
Anyway, I know how to spell your name. It's gotta consonant, a vowel, then a different consonant and finally a different vowel.
Simples!!!
