Righty-ho. I am Mrs Sensible. I've been speaking with the instructor that I did my motorbike CBT on and I've arranged a couple of hours of supervised riding, under his watchful eye, on Friday, to refamiliarise myself with the feel of being on a scooter considering I did my CBT in June and I haven't been on a scoot since. I thought this would be a sensible thing to do prior to collecting Monty on Saturday and negotiating him through Norwich traffic and back home to the middle of nowhere. Definitely born to be mild, me.

Nah, just rev him up and ride him home, one handed, smoking a fag. ;)

Yeah, that sore throat came on alright, woke me at 3am, and has stuck around all day. Bleaugh. Just been shopping, and bought a reduced pizza to cheer myself up. And some chocolate milk.

Just having some tea first though.

Yeah, I'm working on the fluids. Tea, choc milk, Tea etc....

Might have a hot blackcurrant squash later, that was good last time.

Well, the pizza's in - it's ham and pineapple, so there will be a vitamin in there somewhere.... ;)

Err - is that one you need to add water to?

Get well soon Arch.

Ugh, dehydrated pizza....

No, ham and pineapple. Got a wedge left for lunch tomorrow.

Still got the sore throat - been dosing myself with hot blackcurrant, and I'll have to have a strategic Locket just before bed.

Have a virtual tuck in to bed from me.

So reduced was small then?

Mornings!!

Another grey one here today, but as long as it's not raining for the WNRttP I don't mind.
First decent ride since the Leg Unpleasantness incedent a few weeks ago.
And next week I can get on with some serious fettling. New transmission on the tourer!! Kirk up and running!!
Then I can look at going SS on the Dynatech Ti...

Did I miss the leg unpleasantness? I know you've mentioned antibiotics, but what did you do to yourself?

The throat has settled to a mere grumpiness, and the whole bunged up caboodle is moving up to my sinuses - at one point today it felt like someone was trying to push a couple of bananas out of my nasal passages. Bah!

Tea?

Well, everything held up OK, so I think I can consider meself pretty well mended.
The fields were gently steaming after the rain earlier on, so sunset was like riding through a watercolour painting.
Assuming anyone had ever bothered to paint Codicote and the flight path to Luton Airport, that is...
