bought a Yule log last year that looked normal sized in the shop,soon as I got it home and had trouble fitting it into the fridge i knew I was in trouble. Managed to polish it off in 3 days though

wonder if they'll have the same ones again?

As you might guess, it is nearly my bedtime. Just watching the end of "My Best Friend's Wedding". Probably too much of a girly film for you two to watch.

You're right. though I have this week finally gotten round to watching 'Single Father' that David Tennant drama that was on the beeb a few weeks back. Whilst being quite soppy in parts I rather enjoyed it.
makes a change from my normal manly viewing

but to make up for it I did watch the Frankie Boyle sketch show 'Tramadol nights' and even I was a wincing with some of the stuff he came out with

I had a nice curry for dinner, and I've polished off my second cup of tea of the evening. Also, thanks to a surfeit of trade advent calendars at Velo Vision, which had gone to the old address and I delivered to the office today, I've got some little chocolates to catch up on...

That would be the Big Nambas of Malekula, perhaps?

Cannibalism continued up until about 50-odd years back.
There must be a few people there who know what people taste like...

Staggers back into the tea room, clutching a packet of chocolate suggestives.

Somebody heard there was going to be some more snow, and there was a panic buy of bikkies, bread, flour, cat litter and salt at the supermarket.

I managed to get out holding these, but I had to distract the crowd by hurling a baguette to the ground and causing a massive scrum.

I'm so tired. I'm almost too tired to cook...

Well, not quite, but I haven't got hungry enough yet to drive me into the kitchen.

The downside of living two floors up is that if I'm too lazy to cook, I'm way to lazy to go out for takeaway.

I should go and do something creative with some noodles....

Ugh! That is truly vile! I hadn't seen it before and assumed it looked like Frazzles. But it's worse!

I dragged myself into the kitchen, and knocked up a very quick salmon/noodle stir fry. Very tasty, although I never find one block of Sharwoods noddles is quite enough (But 2 is too many - I'd eat them, but shouldn't). So I think I'll be having some toast for pudding...


I'll put the kettle on in a moment..
