A :hugs: with commiserations from me, Night Train.

It was a very difficult decision to make. Eighteen years is a long life for a cat. In your video she looked very contented. I am not really sure what else to say really. On this thread I am sure people will be sympathetic.
I can understand that you might feel very detached for a while. As Arch says, grief is rotten, and we all have our different ways of trying to "adjust", but that is not quite the word I am looking for.

Oh NT

I'm so sorry to hear about this. Losing a cat is never an easy thing and I still remember that horrible feeling.

Feel free to come in here and just chat. Plenty of time for you but take it easy and don't punish yourself as 18 years is very good innings and it sounded like she was very much loved.

I did not want to spoil it for you. This evening my attention was needed elsewhere, so I have not watched today's episode, except for the last fifteen minutes.

I don't know why, but I was somehow underwhelmed. That's as much as I should say. You'll both have to let me know what you think when you've watched it later in the week.

My sister made a chocolate mousse cake from the book recently. It looked really easy and tasted lovely .

Glad you're feeling better NT - Chocolate digestives- that's a lovely treat.

EDIT: Helen - I'm making the one with a mousse topping and the sponge chocolate cake base..mouth watering!

I don't think I've been here for - yonks! Strange... I like tea. But not this time of nite!

Ha Potsy you've been nicked! naughty naughty! I - er um - I - re- - re- [assumes best George the Sixth manner] r- r- r- reported you! What I said was "Can I join the queue?" something like that. Damn, that's the first time I've ever 'owned up' in public, to a report. Thing is, if Mrs P had come in and seen me looking at that piccy, I'd be packing suitcases now .

It's cool, Pots. No fists punching walls at this end. But there are laydeeeeezzzz present! Including Mrs P (a silent partner) who has Strong Views. Just thought I'd say that  Cheers.
