One very small cake on its way to Speicher. Back to the diet tomorrow.

Yes! Today was just a temporary blip. I feel so much better, eating much more fresh fruit and salad, wholemeal bread, no butter, and generally more healthy food.

Tonight's tea was tuna and fresh pineapple in a home made sweet and sour sauce, with rice. I had intended to only have two waffles for dessert, but somehow a small packet of crisps, and two very large biscuits were consumed, as well.

Do not tell Potsy about this. ;)

I think I should just stand at the door and shake myself dry like a dog does

Oh yes please to tea! I just went to pick the trike up from the lockup for a ride tomorrow with an early start, and all the way there I had a headwind, felt like I was riding through treacle.

Mmmm treacle....

Hey Speicher! I spent some time this afternoon at work, on the orders of my boss, researching Scrapstores! It's a way way off idea just now, but we've just had a strategy meeting, so everyone is fired up about expanding our projects and incomes....

Also, I researched jam jars. One jam jar contains, at the bulk waste rate we get for clear glass, 0.15penceworth of glass. Our local DIY/home store is selling them (with lid) for £1.50 each... Even allowing for time and energy spent sterilising them, and buying new lids (lids are harder to get really clean), we ought to be able to turn a little profit, if we can organise to separate the decent jars out and find customers (locals who make jam and stuff).

Sounds like some good ideas Arch.

Hmm, shall I have tea or coffee? Any Jaffa cakes left Potsy? I'm rather partial.
