Have drunk enough tea for one day, now searching for something good on TV or I'll end up playing Angry Birds for an hour

I have had enough of angry pussycats today. A fight broke out between Leo and Benjy, which resulted in Benjy having some water, not a lot, poured over him from a watering can.

Leo decided that Tasha had eaten all his biscuits.

All quiet now.

Do they all have their own food dishes? Our two do, but they are not fussy and will sometimes share a dish or decide that the others' looks better so will swap about.
A water pistol is good I've heard for a quick soaking to calm them down a bit

Yes, they have their own food dishes, and as yours do, they sometimes swap about. The problem arises when I think they have had enough to eat. Then Leo glares at me, and makes me aware of his outrage. After that he might well "blame" Tasha for eating "all" the biscuits.

Can you get an automatic machine gun water pistol?

A very nice gentleman has just delivered and set up my Dvd Recorder, and explained how to use it. Yes, I have written down some of what he said. I think I will practice later today, by recording tomorrow's Due South. He showed me about the thumbnails of progs etc. He also kept the video recorder in all the wiring. I know I could read the instructions, but I have one of those brains that learns more quickly by seeing things done, rather than reading all about it.

I've been keeping the tea consumption figures up, just not popped in here since this morning in case you are all talking cakes and biscuits again, trying to finally get serious about shedding some lbs.

Nice ride home, fastest ride this year as I was treating it like a workout

Watching Gene Hackman on BBC1, might be rubbish by early impressions though

Has your remote got the 'direct navigator' button or similar? You can watch what you are recording straight away, don't need to wait until it's finished like a video recorder.
It's also a good way to check if something is recording, I tend to alter the recording times by a few minutes either end in case of scheduling issues.

Yes, it has a direct navigation button. Cycling has finished now.
