Hi Arch. Train eh? Are you yelling into your mobile too

Here I'll hand up some T as the train passes. Can you lean out a bit further I'm not sure if I can reach...........

Well my Arctic Birds and Flowers talk was very odd. Indeed the presenter was equally odd. So I really can't pass on any gems as there didn't seem to be any sort of thread to his talk. Takes all sorts I suppose

Ta for the tea - I think a fair bit of it went over the lady next to me though... We need a swing-out catcher system like they used to have on mail-trains.

Just approaching Dewsbury, and as we passed Batley just now, I saw what must have been a nightclub with a sign up that said HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS - in big white letters like Hollywood, CA, on the side of a road embankment.

We just went through a really long tunnel, and I lost all my signal.... That's frustration, having the internet, but not having it, if yu see what I mean.

Not sure I am ready to post details of my weight, for everyone to see.

It also depends if I go by my bathroom scales, when I am not wearing anything or the WW scales, when I am dressed. There is a difference of at least seven pounds.

I was the same but decided to just do it, you could always just put the amount you would like to lose and an update every so often on how it's going.
I have some digital scales that have proved to be very accurate, I also check my weight on the industrial scales at work as a 2nd opinion

I am keeping a weekly log and will only put a monthly update on here, I tend to lose weight in batches over the year rather than any kind of regular loss.

Not seen NT for a while, wonder if he's OK?

Thanks for the kind words Pots- I hope so too- it sounds like you're making some good progress with the weight!! Excellent stuff.

I look forward to seeing the photos from the ride too.

Hope NT's ok too.

NT popped in briefly yesterday, when Arch and I were discussing Hot Chocolate. You would have been at work, Pots.

What sort of digital scales have you got? I have got lots of Tesco Club card points, so I could get a new set of scales from there.

Yes, it could be a good idea for me to put how much I would like to loose, rather than my exact weight. I would like to loose somewhere between 28 and 35 pounds, depends how I look and feel. I am definitely built for comfort not speed, and am very strong really. I think one of my ancestors was a Russian weight lifter.

Strength is good Speich - or the other alternative is to measure weight loss in terms of inches around waist? Sometimes it helps as when you exercise more and build up muscle you may weigh more.

You're welcome, though I doubt you'll need to enter the ww thread any time soon

I put a few pics from the last one on here tt, did you see them?

Looking back NT was in the 'tea' thread last night and seemed in good spirits, maybe he's a bit busy.
