Rats - I've dropped and broken my pint Tea mug . I'm having to go back to the kettle to refill this mere half pint mug. Just not the same is it?

Saturday's talk was from a chappie who spent 18 months cycling from Bewdley to Beijing. He took a detour on the way and circumnavigated India. Great Stuff. I bought the book too. I'd like to think I could be that adventurous

We did wonder if we'd come out of the pub to find lots of little tricycles.... Aw, cute!

I don't think mudguards would have saved me from the facefull of water - a passing car sank one wheel into the pothole and it just came up in one great splosh into my face. The perils of recumbenteering. I think I said "Thank you very much!".

We were so lucky with the weather - it was pretty wet when we started out, but it stopped raining pretty soon, and after lunch was positively lovely!

I hope the knee feels better soon - not surprising that some bit of you ached, after 25 miles. At least on a recumbent, saddle sores are not an issue.

One a different subject, we've had a frog orgy going on in the pond at St Nicks today - the noise they were making was quite loud!

I was once asked where the "stamps for the Polar Bears" were kept. I have also managed to lose a staircase. Then there was the time I was in my dressing gown, in the garden shed, with the man from the Water Board.
Not forgetting the time I was in an open top sports cars, and I was wearing a bouyancy jacket. All these events have a perfectly good explanation.

Go on then. How the blinking flip did you lose a staircase?
I have no wish to hear about the you, in the shed, in a dressing gown, with the Water Board bloke. Please let me retain *some* innocence...
