I'm quite tempted to build a RepRap at some point. You can get the simple kit that will then print its own upgrades! How cool is that?

Very cool indeed!

I'm especially interested in the bit about recycling milk bottles, of course. I hope they get the shredder/granule idea off the ground.

Tea anyone? I've just cooked some potatoes for a random fritatta (frittata? frittatta?) for dinner.

Evenings!!

That RepRap printer - strikes me you could make one that just moved a hot-glue gun about to make things.

I think it was originally based on that idea and then refined with better plastics options.
I like the idea that you can buy the parts for one and then use it to make the parts for more and sell them on. Pyramid selling at its most constructive!

I have been using my hot glue gun to try and repair a nose pad for my glasses. The glue half of it keeps falling off so I might need to risk breaking the pad completely off and making the complete pad, on the mount, using glue.

Or glue your glasses to your head....

Sorry, it's late, I should be in bed. My sister rang, mainly I think to read cute things out of Oli's nursery report.

Nursery worker: "Oli, do you want a snack?"
Oli: "No, I'm too busy being busy!"

tut tut, is no one drinking any tea?

I better put the kettle on!

I was going to have a prawn and veg stirfry for dinner, but on defrosting my prawns smelt a bit elderly, so I decided to be cautious. So it was just veg...

Now I have to collate some eco cleaning tips for Saturday.

I'll have a tea Arch.

Eco cleaning tips? [sub]Bicarb is excellent for cleaning. Mix it into a paste and it's great for getting rid of sticky marks. Even my mum was impressed![/sub]

Oh yes, bicarb is on my list. With vinegar, lemons, olive oil, cola and bananas, among other things.

I'm 'doing' a skill swap at St Nicks, and will have stuff on hand to demo. At least at the end of it, I'll have the makings of a salad dressing and a fruit salad.

Strikes me that anything that would clean up with vinegar, would also clean up with wee.
Makes a rubbish salad dressing though. I would imagine.

Don't ask how I found them, but here are some buttons someone might like.

Though they are white train instead of night train. ;)
