Morning Doc. Scrambled egg on wholemeal toast this morning, ooh aren't I all healthy

Was having a car day today as I need to rest my legs for Sundays hilly ride, but the sun is shining so it would be rude not to take advantage

Today in the sky I have seen 1 glider, 4 paragliders, 2 hot air balloons and a Chinook. Random!

Stopped at Sainsburys for natural cleaning stuff, and they've only run out of bicarb! Fortunately, I have half a tub, so I'll make do with that. If I don't use all the stuff up demonstrating (I hope I don't have to), I'll have potato, onion, banana, lemon, spirit vinegar, olive oil, and bicarb left over. Sounds like an episode of Ready Steady Cook...

Don't ask how I found them, but here are some buttons someone might like.

Though they are white train instead of night train. ;)
Awww, cute!

On the subject of transport, I am hastily revising any plans to travel on the Tanzania and Zambia railway. The programme about it on BBC2 is not complementary about the condition of their tracks.

I'm watching that too, the train crew seem very entertaining though.

I have been very productive and fitted the new middle chain ring to my bike along with giving it a general check over for tomorrows forum ride, just need to pack my bag now and work out how much goodies to take.
It's now got an almost complete new drivetrain ready for the Spring/Summer.

Tea has been made-and supped, have decided to have a take-out free weekend but a bit of pudding tonight as a treat, treacle sponge and custard

Oh, I've spent the morning in the company of middle ages, middle class hippies. Bless, I do believe in the stuff they promote, but it always makes me want to come home, turn on every electrical appliance I have and eat dolphin marinaded in palm oil....

Attendance at the Eco cleaning skill swap was about 6, and five of them were staff... Still, the one lady did take away two copies of my 'factsheets' (collated tips off the interweb), and I got a little brass dish cleaned up with lemon juice.

The 'technical wizard' had downloaded a library of youtube films on green cleaning tips, but without actually watching any, so most of them turned out to be American 'infomercials' for eco cleaning products.

Nevermind. Now I have some laundry to do. And a lot of lemons to use up.

Here - have a cuppa Arch. Sounds like you need it.

You've had a better day than me tho'.

I'm in my sick bed xx(

Oh noes! Wassup?

Oh, and I find I've left two of the lemons at St Nicks, and only brought home the cut half. Might be just enough for the mock-Hollandaise I'd decided on for dinner (to go with some purple sprouting broc, boiled spuds and a rather extravagent tin of salmon.)

Arch this might raise a smile - are you ready to start knitting dogs?

Note especially the Jack Russell puppy! ;)

More knitted dogs are on the blog of Muir and Osborne.
At the bottom of their Blog there is also some Puppy porn (?), as well as knitted USBs and computer cables, as well as a knitted human heart, just right for next year's Valentine's day. More puppy porn on page two of the dlog. ;)

Oh oh oh they do, they do a book!

I gave my premium bond prize to Comic Relief last night, but I think that's the excuse I need to get that book!
