I just use the alarm on my phone..... I seem to wake up fine, its the eight or so "snoozes" to follow that make me late for work!!

I use my phone too, set for 2 or 3 different times and a radio alarm too
His name is Leo, so yes, Leo the Lion.

Was hoping it was Leo, the joke wouldn't have worked so well if it was Tasha

Good night everybody I need some sleep so I can attempt a silly hilly ride in the morning.

Lets hope the weather is nice and I hope everyone who is off out for a sunday ride has a good day :hello:

Weather is now passable, and I'm eating toast and drinking tea in bed, with a view to getting up in 20 mins or so and going for a bike ride with CrinklyLion. There is likely to be a cafe involved.

NT-you obviously need to do more riding (bike riding that is) after a recent forum ride one cc member, who was having similar trouble to you said he had his best nights sleep for ages that night.
Like Arch, it's not something I have trouble with, waking up is my main problem

Even after that 25 mile ride last weekend I didn't sleep any better.
Though my legs were tired I didn't feel sleepy at all.

I can choose to go to sleep and can 'shut down' enough to fall asleep but I am then away after half an hour feeling momentarily refreshed and not sleepy.

Tea anyone? Kettle's on, bags are in the pot.

I am not a member, I am a free man !!!!!!
Just got back from a very hilly 59 miles, I decided to wear my spring collection today :girl: but :cold: it was a bit nippy in them there hills.

But I did manage a long cafe stop for a baked potato with cheese & beans :hungry: yummy.
I even felt the sun on my face for a least a whole 5 mins :sun: honest I did.

You just need to transplant your brain into your legs then. Or cycle with your head....

You'll have to come over again then, and I'll drag you a bit further, see if that works. Although there's a fine line between 'sleepy' and 'comatose'...

Tea? Yes please! Just back from a nice 30 miler on the trike, cake included. Now, shock horror, I'm having a banana!

Tea for Arch.

I can come over again some time for another ride but I think getting me tired and sleepy isn't a good idea for the 70 mile drive home!;)

What is it with you and bananas?:hungry:
