Yes, I am the same with my sewing. Any work on the wrong side, still needs to be neat and consistent.

My Mum is like that.

I am.... less so.

Tea? I'm working from home today, so the kettle is in easy reach. Well it would be if I was an orang utan.

Morning all.. any tea going?
Another nice commute this morning... nice and fast again. Little chilly but London is warming up, ready for DaddyHenry day tomorrow and for the weekend....

My mum bless 'er taught me how to knit many many moons ago. Only a scarf type stuff... not sure if I could do it now though.

You don't forget. You might be slow to start with, but you'd soon pick up. If you can knit, and cast on and off, you can knit a bear...

I didn't commute by bike today, given that I can barely turn my bike round in the space between bed and table...

In theory, I'm learning to knit. But, oddly enough, I've discovered I prefer sewing. Typically, I'm worse at it than knitting, but it's a great way to make use of old t-shirts that are truly beyond their last legs.

Bike and I are going out in a bit to get milk. And something chocolatey. I should get dressed first, though.

Team up with a local knitter. All the knitters I know hate the sewing up part!

I dunno, going out for milk in the nude might get you a discount?

Depends if Mister or Missus is at work in the corner shop, I guess.

Everywhere is warmer then Stockport.....

yeh - Stockport... where's that Ian? Oh, potsyland. I thought it was nice and warm up there with all the cars being set on fire from time to time. Not like London, which was exceedingly pleasant this morning what?
Somerset is shaping up nicely for its own section in CoffeeChat CycleChat, since 'jo' arrived. From "alternative pies"(passim) to new ditty - the board is perking up!
