No drama sorry, although I did once cycle at full speed face first down a ditch and go over the handle bars and smash my face into a rock that was sticking out of the ground, but it didnt snap my tooth

I found out yesterday that one of my customers who I did alot of work with over the last 5 or 6 years and became a friend died in january.

I knew she was in hospital at xmas with a bleed on the brain or something, I dont know all the details but I didnt know she had died she was 52, no age at all and such a shame she was a nice lady one of those people who you instantly get on with and I will miss her.

RIP

Just goes to show you never know whats in store so get out and enjoy life while you can.

I decided to follow my own advise and go out and enjoy myself so I set of at 9ish this morning (It was quite chilly) and I did the hillyist route I could come up with and stayed out all day and did 101 miles so I am very pleased as usually I chicken out and pick a flat route whan I do 100+ rides.

Speicher you may like to know that I had my very white legs out today and frightened all the natives, except a girl in a van who shouted somthing and another girl in a nova who beeped at me

I only just got my arse into gear and pickup some shorts the other day now my legs have to catch up my arms, but I seem to have brown arms and white hands at the moment because I have been wearing my mitts.

I too have mitt lines, though they can't be any worse than the laughs I'm *still* inducing for my sandal strap lines on my feet from last summer!

With regard to your legs, Phil, it is not so much the colour that is important, as the general sort of shape, ie not spindly, and no knobbly knees.

There used to be a forum person by the name of BigonaBianchi. Considerable efforts would be needed to surpass his brown knees and legs in the photos of his tour in Germany. Sadly he is no longer regularly on this forum. Given time, I am sure I could try and find the relevant photos.

How complicated can it be? You either have spindly thin legs or not.

As an example, the legs of Fabian Cancellara are much nicer in shape than those of Andy Schleck.
