I'm watching 'Ride of my life' recorded from BBC4.

I will have to move two of these this weekend.

I have one on my drive and one on my trailer and I have a delivery of a 1 ton bag of sand coming on Tuesday and they will be in the way. I also want to try and pick up another one or two on Monday.

They look a touch unwieldy! Are they very heavy?

Time for...

Oh yes please. How are you feeling now, apart from tired?

Yay! Waitrose chocolate milk is on offer, 35p off!

In other news, thanks to an un-nippled rear brake cable fraying on my bike, I've been quietly sawing a slit in my right shoe for some time, something I only realised today...

Tea for Arch.

I am gradually feeling better, less nauseous now so I can move about freely but still weak.

Those bike lockers are 6'2" x 4' x 2'8" and must weight around 100kg each, took four of us to move each one when I picked them up, two would have been a real struggle as we were lifting and turning them over on my trailer. I shall be shifting them on my own over the weekend I suspect.

Afternoon tea people :hello:

Today is a day of rest and recovery after a very tiring working week, FA cup final on the telly, a Cornetto Enigma and a cup of tea, ahh what a rock and roll life I lead

Are you wearing slippers?

Have you tried the exercise video? I hope it wasn't too arduous for you.

This morning I was doing some gardening. This afternoon I watched the Giro D'Italia, and one of my Fantasy Team members was first, another third.

Perhaps they have been rivetted which is why they haven't been welded.
I hope you are well enough to solder on with this.

Bolted, actually.

Should have shut the stable doors.

I do not know a lot about enjun earing, is a rivet like a very small bolt (except you cannot undo a rivet)?

Yes, a rivet is exactly like a small bolt, except that it fastens by being compressed into itself, with no nut, and it has no screw thread, and no mechanism for turning it, and it can't be undone, but apart from that they are just alike.

;)

I've just cleaned out my kitchen cupboard and worktop, like properly, getting everything out, and throwing away old jam and stuff. And I'm wondering if that's enough to deserve a takeaway for dinner.

That's on top of getting some doorkeys cut this morning, and then going back and getting them done again when they didn't work....

Tea?

Afternoon! Just seen the time! Evening! I've been to the hairdressers and despite having lots cut off look to have 3 times as much hair. It's been tousled and diffused to within an inch of its life . The friend who recommended the hairdresser warned me she's quite feisty and won't pull any punches. She decided I was desperately in need of a makeover. Fortunately Spandex approves.
