Blimey, you'll need a sit down if you've been tustling with a hairdresser. I usually need a stiff drink!

Dr WHo now, and then later on....

Eurovision!

Eurovision!

I was invited to a Eurovision party in Hull but there weren't enough takers and it's a bit far so unfortunately has been cancelled. Are you still in black and white? I fear that will dilute the Eurovision experience somewhat. Maybe that's a good thing!

Afternoon! Just seen the time! Evening! I've been to the hairdressers and despite having lots cut off look to have 3 times as much hair. It's been tousled and diffused to within an inch of its life . The friend who recommended the hairdresser warned me she's quite feisty and won't pull any punches. She decided I was desperately in need of a makeover. Fortunately Spandex approves.

Tea?

Which hair dressers is that? Could do with someone who knows what they are doing.

I used to go to a fantastic hair dresser in Liverpool who new what would suit you and do it, it was a fantastic result.

Gail at 3D in the Shambles. It's above one an Italian restaurant. About £25 for a cut and blow dry with a uni or NHS discount so no doubt she'd do you a student discount. If you mention my name I'll get 5% referral discount as well apparently.

Oh, I only watch for the acid commentary, and I think Graham Norton does pretty well, although Wogan was King.

Not sure what it'll be like this year, as we've gone for 'real' pop stars. And Ireland have Jedward, which will be the first time I've actually seen them perform. I'm hoping for something amusing from Albania or similar.

In exciting news, I'll be going colour soon, as I have to renew the licence this month, and they turn off analogue soon, so I may as well get digital and upgrade and everything. I may have to ration my watching so as not to get sensory overload.

Oh god I wasn't gonna watch but now I know Jedward are 'performing' I might have to tune in :hyper:

Can somebody give me a nudge just before they are due on?

Take-out ordered, Italian night tonight :hungry:

I think they're 6. We're currently on act 3. Consider yourself nudged!

I confess to being slightly  with Jedward in a manly way you understand
I liked it when they kept getting further on X Factor despite being obvious talentless idiots

I can well see them winning it or being very close anyway, I'll watch the voting later.

Yes, a rivet is exactly like a small bolt, except that it fastens by being compressed into itself, with no nut, and it has no screw thread, and no mechanism for turning it, and it can't be undone, but apart from that they are just alike.

;)

Thank you, that was a very interesting explication, in fact it was rivetting.

Would you like to give me a detailed explication of Welding Arc?

;)
