I have just crawled out of bed

No tea for me, I am waiting for the Ice Cream man, and his van.

I also need to wait patiently to find out if I am second, third or fourth in the Fantasy Giro.

Or fifth or sixth. However Dayvo knows why I will not be last.

I've been up since 4.30. Am beyond merely drinking tea: have been mainlining caffeine since 3pm. Am thinking about taking a leaf out of my friends' toddlers' book and going to bed early with a bottle

The Ice Cream man did not bother to drive up this street today. Tomorrow I will be at the local Carnival. I need to decide whether to have ice cream or fresh doughnuts.

Evening! I'm back from camping. Just about to jump in the shower and then make some dinner. Tea was a priority....

I could do with a brew, all these miles on the cyclepaths of Germany give a boy a real thirst.

It is now starting to stop raining. So I might wander down to the Farmer's Market and the Dog Show.

Unfortunately the farmers will be looking very wet, windswept and bedragged by now. So I may have to choose the best one according to the newness of their tractor of the shape and length of their asparagus. (Assuming there are any farmers left.) It's too early in the year to make a judgement according to their plums.

I am not so concerned about the dogs, their behaviour or their obedience, but that is another tail for another time.

Too cold for ice cream, so doughnuts might be on the agenda.

We'd finished work my lunchtime and were miserably wet, so all took a half day off. I'm off out in minute for some groceries, then it'll be time for tea.

Then I'll write up the weekend trip.

Yeah, sorry, got home from the shops and felt the need for a sit down on the bed, which developed into a nap.

Just eating pizza for dinner, then I'll get on with it.
