Yesterday at the Carnival, "my" ferret was first in the ferret racing! I have never been really close to a ferret, they seemed very playful and happy to race. It was a ferret rescue centre that do the races to raise funds.

I also met a "chocolate" man, dark, rich and handsome, with a surname that is the same as a famous brand of chocolate, but a bit too old for me.

Doughnuts were consumed, but I did shake off nearly all the sugar first. I resisted an ice-cream, which I know Potsy will find difficult to believe.

Ah, you've met Alouyscious Toblerone then?

I'm just in from a quick drink with a friend that turned into three beers and dinner. She's just handed in her PhD, so was in the mood to party.

No, Cadbury actually.

Finally on Friday, Arch, we finished listing all the books. About 700 altogether. The last book to be added was entitled "What a Performance!" about how to put on plays etc. The title seemed rather appropriate.

I will not be redundant as a Volunteer, I am thinking about returning to the Pump House, depending if they need an Admin Receptionist type person who can loose stair cases and find stamps for the Albatross. ;)

I enjoyed seeing all your photos of the Weekend. Sounds like everyone had a lovely time.

I'll join you on the sofa then if there's room, I'm shattered for some reason. I was out last night, but only for a pint and a half, and a meal, and I wasn't out very late...

But today I've been dragging my feet round like a draggy thing behind a dredger.

If there is room?

How much space do you think I need. The lumpy shape under the cushion is Tasha the cat. Oh ... too late...

She moves fast doesn't she?

I'll have to cook dinner soon, I'm ringing Mum at 7 and if I'm not careful I'll still be trying to eat spaghetti at the same time, time flies when you're on the internet.... But I think I need a small nap-ette first.

Well, it is doughnut day
Room for one more? I did my 1st night shift of the week last night and am now confused as to whether I should be having breakfast dinner or tea soon  maybe I'll have a bit of all 3 just to be on the safe side.

This week Doughnut day was Monday, cos I had five (?) small sized ring doughnuts, with the sugar shaken off. I also have a small ginger cake.

Your meal this evening, you could have cornflakes as a starter, chicken and chips for main course, and soup for pudding.

I have been meeting with my friendly web designer today.

I have taken over running my website and relieved him of any further effort on my behalf (except for support in using Wordpress). The old website is now obliterated and I am slowly repopulating the new one. He was good but I couldn't afford to keep paying him.

I also found out that he is an infrequent member on CC and has met Arch on a West Yorkshire Audax last year!
Small world.

Blimey, small world indeed. I wonder who it was - I met a few familiar faces, but also a few random folk at cafe stops...

Ah, all is well. I have spag bol.
