I just did a 37 mile ride to get a bacon sandwich and some cappuccino.

:hungry:

I've had a banana and a yoghurt - going to have a more substantial meal when I get back. As I *am* going out. Oh yes. Mind you, it wouldn't be *too* difficult to pick a route via a coffee shop ...

I just had Bacon, Sausage, Egg & Beans but I only had to go as far as the kitchen :biggrin: and I am about to have some yummy ice cream :thumbsup:

Did you ride?

I bought some shoes, look!

<wiggles feet at laptop>

In fact <whisper> I bought two pairs! Asda had some funny little pump type shoes, only with quite robust rubber soles. They'll pack virtually flat, being little more than slippers, and I thought they would work well as evening shoes when touring, as they'll take up very little space in a pannier. So I got some lace up plimsolls for this week, and a pair of those for any future camping/touring.

How girly am I? :girl:

I've been shopping too.

I have a bag habit and ended up buying two Aldi 44l duffle bags that may get used as pannier bags or trailer bags. Only £7.99.:thumbsup:

I also got their three pack of 9 LED lorches with batteries for £4.99 :thumbsup:

Didn't someone once design a shoe that switched from a stilleto to a flat shoe? Would that be classed a flat pack shoe?:whistle:

Poundland quite often have 9 LED torches at, yes, a pound. No batteries though.
I'm sure one could design a cycling shoe with a retractable / folding stiletto.
That wouldn't look daft at all.

I am keeping an ear out for the ice-cream van.

Shopping round here on a Sunday, can be a tad difficult, unless you want to venture into a Big Town. :wacko:
The corner shop, quarter of a mile away closes at 4pm on Sunday.
