Plenty of the wet stuff here as well. Trying to choose between going to the club ride in the hopes that it will ease off sooner rather than later, or being a wimp and going back to bed with the excellent book I started last night.

Phil, you never what pizza you got. Such details are important.

Baggy, don't diss the 'bo

Speicher, just have one. She'll never know...

I've got Deathly Hallows to get through before I go and see the film, sometime in the next couple of weeks. Apparently the film won't make much sense if I haven't read the book.

Rain here too, for a change.

Helloes!!
This morning's ride was slotted in between Teh rain - a mere 20 hilly miles to Watton and back. On the SS.
I must try and do a long ride on the Brommie soon - I'm planning on a short tour on it later in the year.
I'm sure it'll be OK, but if it isn't, I'd sooner know now, rather than when I'm in the middle of France with no bail-out options...

Must go and get a brew.

Isn't the point of a Brommie that you always have bail out options? Like, buses, and stuff?

You'll be fine. I have a friend who did LEJOG on hers, in three separate two week stints. The idea being that she could bail out if necessary (she's in her 70's at least) and get a bus to that night's stop. But she never needed to.

Surprise, it's raining again. It's been a very lazy weekend. Except I have actually started researching a book.

Accidentally cycled 48 miles today. It's a good thing I caved in and had cake as well as a sandwich when we stopped for lunch. Also narrowly avoided falling head first into a patch of brambles when we stopped at a junction so that everyone could catch up. Keep forgetting that I keep raising my saddle.

Baggy, I think there's at least three of us who'll be coming to Bristol for the Exodus and peeling off at Taunton. Unless it's raining. We've agreed that we're happy to be wimps in that respect.

Mmmm, pepperoni pizza. Mmmm. :hungry:
