I've just caught up with JttCotP - Hammond's no Attenborough (and is in desperate need of a hair cut) but yes, was good.

Tea?

He's had a haircut, that must all have been filmed a while back. Some of the recent Top Gear films have had him with long hair, but the topical studio bits have him with shorter hair again.

Saw an old Top Gear on Dave the other day, they all looked so young!

I've not watched Top Gear for ages, mainly because of Clarkson. I go through phases of being able to tolerate him and wanting to push him into a shredder.

Ah, but the good thing about Top Gear is that Clarkson often looks a bit of a tit ;).

Ah, just one more day to the weekend. I'm off to my Mum's for a visit. I expect she'll have a bag of compost that needs lifting, and probably a light bulb to change....

It's good to be useful...

Talking of compost and being useful. Do you remember when I was asking if cereal box liners were decompostable? I have found a use for the plasticky ones. At the Propagating course I went on, the Lecturer was explaining how to get cuttings started by using plastic bags to keep the moisture in and shade the young plants from the sun. This avoids buying large Propagators. So the liners from cereal packets are being used instead. There is the added advantage of keeping their shape, and not using "new" plastic bags for that purpose. I will appraise you of the cuttings progress later in the year. I do not get many liners, only from the Weetabix minis (wholegrain), but at least they will be re-used at least once.

Have a good weekend. It could be quiet with you away, and Potsy not back yet.

Mornings. I've just earned enough points to "buy" myself a £50 cheque from YouGov. :wahhey: Do I count that against previous purchases or go 50/50 and get something new...?
