I may struggle to top 70 mph without the aid of internal combustion.
I reckon 40 - 45 mph should be doable round here, and maybe 50 mph if I go further afield.
I was...dissuaded from going down Horseshoe Pass on it a while back.
That could have been good for 50+, and possibly A&E.

Body armour?Stack at 50+ mph, and even having a Ford Fiesta around you ain't gonna help all that much!!
Not sure that Accident and Emergency could do a lot, once I'd liberally abraded myself all over the countryside.

You'd feel a right cock riding that

2nd week of my time off work, nothing planned other than relaxing, a few bike rides, and generally keeping my fingers crossed for a lottery win so I don't ever have to return.
After having 6 huge cooked breakfasts in 6 days, plus plenty to eat in the evening, I am now officially on a semi-diet this week before the mega diet starts next week

This was a typical cup of tea coffee last week- small coffee!!.JPG

think I need to get back to reality very quickly

With a cup that size, did you dunk any biskits in it?

Could be a :sun: week here. So I think I will be on holiday too. As I have not long returned from a cruise, I will stay at home this time.

Last week I was very busy watching the cycling of course.

I've just cleared the contents of my fruit bowl. Was about to turn into little fruit-sized monsters of yuch.

I'd say I feel smug and healthy but I had fried eggs on toast for lunch :hungry:

Nice try ;)

It's marginally cooler so I'm going to walk the dog and see if I can find any interesting to photograph. Daren't go out on the bike til the shops have shut. All this talk of doughnuts and super-sized cups of coffee is not good for my waistline :mrpig:

Hi, just bought Night train's Marin Hawk Hill to add to his brompton fund. Loving the bike already!
Tea anybody?
Mint+Tea.JPG

You seem to have some cabbage leaves in your cup there HW

Night train will no doubt make his own brommy with left over coat hangers and bits of off-cut 4x2 ;)

Welcome to 'tea'

His tea is always a bit funny!

I figured that even with coat hangers and 4x2s I would still need some sort of Brommie fund.
