Yes, excuse me while I go and make a hot choccy.

Did you watch Arctic Blast the other night? Sunday I think. If the mobile phones did not work across a town in Australia, how did the telephone lines from USA to Australia still work?

I have started recording Criminal Intent, then watching it later without the adverts. Amazing how much time I can save, and not watch boring adverts. Now I need to learn how to edit and save to a disk. Is that called "making chapters" then deleting a chapter? I have recorded lots of the Tour, but only want to keep the mountain sections.

I have watched most TV like that since I got my recorder, so much better,
A chapter just puts a place in to the recording so you can go straight to that spot, you need to edit out the ads.

Sub menu-edit-partial delete. Practice on something you don't mind losing first though

Now I know what to look for in the inch-thick instruction manual, I will try that (on something unimportant).
I assume, that you, as a male, do not read the instruction booklet, unless all else fails?

Tea anyone? I was in Bristol yesterday and ran out of time so didn't get to visit the Krispy Kreme shop on my way back to the train station  Made up for it by buying a pizza and some sweets and scoffing the lot :mrpig: Not the same though

Tea for me please!

For some reason, today was very tiring. A combination of the humid heat, and in my case, two trike trips into town...

There was a scything workshop on at the reserve today, about 8 people. I reckoned they should all have been issued with a long hooded black cloak as well as the scythe...
