So that is ColinJ in the middle and Terry on the right. Who is the slim person on the left?

Cornetto Enigma is definitely allowed after 60 odd hilly miles.

We've been staying out of tea trouble, been outdoors making cider, too  We've been freezing all the windfalls from the bramley and anonymous tree in our garden, and went out on a drive-by to raid all the stray apple trees we could find (lots on verges/in hedges etc which look like old cider-apple trees) then whacked them through a borrowed press.

Produced 5 gallons

Didn't have too many scabby apples so no Mould-Rosie for us, though it will probably end up tasting rank anyway

At least by Christmas I can drink to forget potsy's mileage

You're looking very trim potsy, good work!

Ha Ha, thanks both of you, didn't feel very trim going up them there hills though, lots of work to do yet

Might go for a little leg loosening ride later, on the flat mind.

Hope your knee gets better soon Baggy.

Am sure Colin will be organising another hill practice session for you all soon!

Knee is improving after a week off, ta, just need to be stricter about my exercises and rest it more than I have been...

The cider is starting to ferment, it sounds like a mini depth-charge each time it bubbles :becool:

I had cake twice today. But I had rice, chicken and veggies for lunch so I think that balances it out.

AND ... it didn't rain! We even saw the :sun: once or twice. Bloody windy up on Glastonbury Tor though. :cold:

I was out on a bike ride yesterday, and it was very windy! Luckily, we got the headwind bits out of the way on the way out, and had some rather nice assisted bits on the way back, plus a cafe stop that managed to stretch over an hour I think!

Been at work this morning, got let out early, watched telly all afternoon and pigged out on chinese takeaway for dinner. I don't feel proud. In fact I feel fat. But hey, it's a bank holiday.

It's always fun scalping a roadie on a folder.
A few weeks ago, I was going along a road with speed bumps. A Porsche Boxter went past, then slowed to a crawl to do the speed bump. I caught it up and could probably have passed it. It accelerated away, then slowed to a crawl for the next speed bump. I caught it up. Again.
Repeat 12 times.
I could have taken a Porsche on a Brompton, had I not been so busy laughing.

This chap was asking for it.
He shot though our little riding group without so much as an 'excuse me' so I set off after him. Really funny when I caught up with him, he had that 'I'm not looking so you're not really there' look on his face as I said 'hello!' as I passed him.

Has Jo left any food at all for the rest of us? Or is she still 're-loading'? :hungry:

Just been for a leisurely ride, much different to my normal ones as this was almost all offroad, my hands/wrists/forearms are now numb, but it was most enjoyable.
22 odd miles and hardly a hill in sight :bicycle:

Tea and a biscuit now I think.
