no I could get the housework done this afternoon ok, Weather is supposed to be nice again tomorrow as well.

I suppose I could do a little housework, get washing on the line and then do my little 6 mile ride......maybe be easier now I've got the back gears sorted (really ought to sort the front ones as well -but I'll do that this week - have got enough to get by on right now........)

boys are still with their dad - won't be home until just before bed time - so they can't help (today). I suppose lunch and a load of washing would be a good place to make a decision

Yes, put on one load of washing, with another load sorted for tomorrow morning, that helps with tidying up. Peg it outside, go for a short cycle* this afternoon.

Go cycling tomorrow morning, just in case someone absolutely refuses to stay at school after lunch.

More tidying with some help from the boys tomorrow afternoon.

* you are on a short cycle, the washing is on a long spin!

oh he has no choice but to stay at school LOL.

I have no will power...........I've just planned a 10(ish) mile ride that's an extension of my 6 mile one........once I've had my lunch I'm off to try it out

:hello: It's Very Hot out there. Glad I went on the ride but I was flagging by the end. 60 miles after yesterday's exertions = tired, sleepy legs!

I'm not lifting a finger today to do any housework. I think I have enough clean crockery and cutlery to survive til tomorrow :becool:

yes it is very hot out there - think it's hotter than yesterday! 2 miles in (about 10 minutes for me lol) I realised it was too hot to do my planned route - so I did 2 laps of the country park (usually do one for my 6 mile ride) and then came home. Had to push the last few minutes as the heat had exhausted me. Still 8.3 miles in 1hr 7 minutes (and I know I could have done the country park bit quicker but it was heaving with other cyclists, chavs on bikes, and lots of famlies with small children.

Hey ho - time for a cuppa

Have you got any electrolyte tablets you can shove in your water coffejo?

Am feeling a bit bloated and thirsty today, still not rehydrated from yesterday. We only have banana NUUN tablets in the house xx( otherwise I'd take my own advice.

No, nothing of the sort. I'll just keep chugging away at the water and wait for my kidneys to explode.

How was the marshalling?

Tipping it over your head might work, but tipping it over potsy's might be more fun

The marshalling was easy as sadly only a few riders turned up! Have had a productive day as a result of being up early but a lie-in would have been nice. Waiting for it to cool down here and then am of for a 10 mile pootle somewhere to burn off this morning's bacon sarnie
