Pudding was a strawberry Yoghurt. A Senga strawberry yoghurt made with proper aka full fat milk, and cream and strawberries, none of this diet yoghurt gloopy blobby stuff.

Drat! I had my fork, and a bowl the size of a bath ready....

If you go onto that website and then to "wholesale products" then Dedza pottery it shows some lovely mugs. Some with elephants and giraffes (Nkhotakota) against a colourful sky. There are two shops not a million miles away from York that might stock them.

Unfortunately my nearest stockist is in Cheltenham. It says the designs vary, so I would need to see them before purchasing any. Especially for Potsy, they make extra large mugs. ;)

We had a bit of freezing rain here today, along with a small spattering of hail and possibly sleet along with sunshine.

It is getting near the point where I will have to start thinking of wearing more then shorts and tee shirt at home and maybe something over my tee shirt when I go outside. I was washing firewood outside in short sleeves and cold water earlier on. The wood will be a stage prop so it needs to be clean.

I also did a bit of work on Granville after returning from stage painting.
He gained a chunky gear shifter.

And a replacement rear mech I picked up from Spandex at the weekend.

Now he is all cabled up and running on all six speeds using 16 and 20 tooth sprockets. Might even go to 14/20.

I had to borrow a chain link from Granville for Tiddles as the snap link that came with the new 1/8 chain wouldn't fit through the tensioner.

I tested Tiddles' gears and they seemed to work ok but the little axle key I welded up broke, I didn't think it would last. I rewelded it this evening and it all seems to work fine again. I will get a new one though.

Time for a warming drink.

I think that having a component which needs rewelding every day might be a bit too much work, even for you! I mean, I know you have a trailer, but isn't a welder quite heavy to tow everywhere?

Still, it's great that you've diagnosed the problem successfully.

As for Granville, where will it end?
