Ian doesn't seem to be online so I'd better eat it for him.

I just scrubbed the whole house (well, 1 bed flat) from top to bottom INCLUDING THE BATH!!!

*collapses on sofa and ponders a coffee with something much stronger than milk*

I have a head ache and possibly a bit of a cold starting.

I blame switching on a bit of heating last night and making the room warm and stuffy.


Still, Granville got a slightly wet ride today , just a short one to clear my head and to check the six speed works reliably, and it does.

Tiddles (why is it that when I type 'Tiddles' the cursor jumps the letters around the screen?) also had a little tidy up and a rear reflector put on the top of the seat post. It stops the post from hitting the floor when folded. His rear tyre has gone flat but there is no point fixing it as it needs a new one anyway.

I fancy a coffee but it will make my headache worse.

Ring doughnuts with not too much sugar on. That and tea, together with removing a couple of tractor tryes from their rims for the local nursery, is taking my mind off my headache.

It's funny having a nursery that gives their toddlers tyres to play with. I only needed to do that with my Rottie.

I'm tempted to say 'Hopefully' but they are still at the 'nice' stage where they play properly, don't swear or 'know' their 'human rights'.

They had a load of tyres and turned some into planters in the playground but then someone else, thinking they were doing a them a favour, planted up the rest.

They now have, from me, two Land Rover tyres, two car tyres, two tractor tyres and a racing tyre from a kart.

Head still aches!

Pub ride tonight, gonna be cold, if not wet. Hope we go somewhere that does good soup. Or carbs.

Surely you could have fitted two of those tyres (any two!) to Granville?


I hope the head is better soon.

I have a bottle of St Nicks cider in the fridge. That might make it better, and then a whole lot worse!

No. Really. I know it sounds odd, and it doesn't sound any less wierd the more you say it. But cheese flapjack is a Very Good Thing.

The only sort of cheese I have in the fridge at present is mature Goat's cheese. (Note the adjective belongs to the cheese not the goat.)

I am thinking about doing a peanut butter and peanut flapjack.
