Hmm, sounds less than fun. All clear here, going to be a lovely day for a ride.

Tea?

It is lovely here now too, sunny ride home by the river.
Was freezing this morning, could have done with my buff but I forgot to pack it and couldn't be bothered going back for it :cold:

Ready for a fry grill up :hungry:

This might sound like heresy, but I've never found a buff all that useful for cycling.
Use them all the time for skiing though. Just the job for long cold chairlifts.

That's a nice shot, Potsy. Where is it?

I have just done something unusual. Unusual for me at any rate.I went for a ride this morning. Few hills, 37k, passing a few potential breakfast stops. That's not the strange thing.I didn't stop at any of them. No toasted teacakes, no bacon rolls, no fry-ups, no nothing.Have I been replaced with an alien replicant?*worries*

What's more alien than a Dalek?

Wonderful photo.

I didn't make it out for a club run so met up with a friend and we had a fantastic ride. Not a cloud in the sky and a mouth-wateringly delicious roast dinner at a pub. She had beef. I had the "decadent" meal: beef, pork, stuffing, yorkies, apple sauce and crackling, plus the usual veggies. I - and take note, it doesn't happen very often, struggled to finish, but finish I did. And then sat there for quite a long time, groaning. The ride home was much slower than the ride out. :hungry:

I've had a lovely weekend by the sea!

Now I'm back, and nicely full of pizza and a small glass of cider. I'll be off to bed soon I think - well, it's the warmest place!

I only have a buff to keep my ears warm when riding. The wind chill gives me ear ache.
I plan to make some little thin triangles to fit on my cycling helmet to cover my ears, just enough to stop the wind but not the sounds of cars.

He is in Strictly come Prancing with Anita Dobson. Have you seen his photos on his Facebook page.

He is extremely handsome, has a lovely smile, is a great dancer and is gay. A guy somewhere is very lucky.

That's always the problem.
If a guy is good looking, kind and sensitive, well dressed, and a good dancer, chances are he's already got a boyfriend...
This is the point where I keep very quiet about my oh-so-manly crush on Captain Jack Harkness

Ahem.
I have a glass of 12-year old Caol Ila on the go. Can I tempt anyone?
It's an Islay single malt, bit more restrained than Laphroaig (which is not A Good Thing in my book - I don't do subtle).

Thought for a minute you were talking about me behind my back again
