Just starting to get dark here now. It is surprising how much later it gets dark here, rather than say London. It won't be completely dark until after 5pm.*

I've just been outside and make a phonecall (no mobile reception actually IN the office!) and the sky is pretty much the shade of dark blue that is around the reply window in the version of Cyclechat I use, (called 'Cyclechat' in the drop down menu). So not entirely dark yet, but dark enough to call dark, if you see what I mean.

Just for you Arch, I have changed the version of Cyclechat that I use. The sky here now is like the lighter blue that appears under the last post posted. Not as dark as the border of the Reply box. More like the colour of the bar that "CycleChat Cafe" and "Go" appears in. However it has taken me so long to read your post, change the version, and compare the colours, that it is getting dark now.
If I go to the back of house, and look out, it is much lighter, cos that is almost directly west, and I catch the last light of the setting sun.

My seller was more pricey, true, but my tyres come with tubes, which I wanted.
I'll take a photo of the tyres, and I fully anticipate a swearfest fitting them!
I'm also replacing the Brompton rim tape (which is purest pants) with 10mm Velox.
I'm hoping one reel will do two wheels.
