Same here. I'm a very poor sleeper and it seemed to rain heavily most of the night Still drizzling away just now. Hoping the forecast is correct and it is going to ease off soon and be a nice sunny afternoon

Trains are not going west plus the buses are AWOL..
the usual flooding with cars floating about in some areas..
I bloody starved myself since last night to go give blood this morning..

We live in Leicester and every year we go into town at least once a month, comedians, bands, theatre, we never see anyone we know. Last night we drove to Warwick Arts Centre and there was our finance director sitting there having a meal waiting for the show, he had driven up from Oxford. He bought us both a beer

Afternoon good folks of Tealandia.

We have been putting the dumped pile of awfulness in thick, green garden bags and have taken 6 bags to the dump. The garden looks much better now. We have discovered that we have 2 frogs living in the dampness there so we thought that we would dig out a shallow pond for them. There looks like the remnants of a pond liner there but it's torn and horrible (going on the next dump run) so we only need to skim where the pond was filled in by rubbish. It only looks about a foot deep so perfectly doable.

I got another tail wind riding home today . The weather's warming up too, with yesterday's rain but a memory. The next 3 days will be 22, 24 and then 29°C. I'm tired , so will be going to bed shortly.
