We live in Leicester and every year we go into town at least once a month, comedians, bands, theatre, we never see anyone we know. Last night we drove to Warwick Arts Centre and there was our finance director sitting there having a meal waiting for the show, he had driven up from Oxford. He bought us both a beer

A birthday pressie from No.1 Daughter yesterday. Strangely, the tea tastes even better out of a mug like this :cuppa:

Speaking of which: where's this thread's caretaker? Since his "rooster crowing" post 3 hours ago, he's not returned. Doesn't he realise we could get up to all kinds of mischief while he's absent?

IT'S PARTY TIME, PEOPLE! :hyper:
You never know!

Afternoon good folks of Tealandia.

We have been putting the dumped pile of awfulness in thick, green garden bags and have taken 6 bags to the dump. The garden looks much better now. We have discovered that we have 2 frogs living in the dampness there so we thought that we would dig out a shallow pond for them. There looks like the remnants of a pond liner there but it's torn and horrible (going on the next dump run) so we only need to skim where the pond was filled in by rubbish. It only looks about a foot deep so perfectly doable.
