Apparently the loo man noticed this when he was fitting the new toilet. He put in a request for a repaired floor and made a note that the slope was wrong and that the floor was at least 10 years old. The council put a copy of the loo man's order in with their letter. His report was quite detailed and said about 'historical cats' living there with previous tenant, causing flooring issues.

Floor will be ripped up mid afternoon on the 17th and new concrete laid directly after (Asda for the loo on the monday night again then) then new flooring laid first thing - give or take - on the 18th. Can then shower on the evening of the 18th.

Off to bed now. Feeling hungry and it's a fast day so I'm away to my bed before I succumb to the choccies.

And get ready for when they come to do the floor!

Mad rush to get to Mcr in time for triple header gig, excited but fear I might miss a bit.

Will have to go sans tea (food tea, not tea - tea) & possibly indulge in a Maccie D's health meal (there is one above Victoria station outside the M.E.N) so will be handy if desperate.

I would love to sink a few beers but I am put off by the London prices in the venue & the need to get up at around 5.30 a.m
The Crown and Anchor, cheap beer and you can have a few bags of crisps for your tea.

Sorted.[/QUOTE]
No time for that @stephec

straight in, post Mc D's, desperation won, £4.80 a pint for Fosters DishWater, £25 for an 'official' tour t-shirt of any of the 3 bands, £9 outside with some bartering

Missed all but the last 2 songs from Theory of a Deadman but made up for by a great set by Airbourne & BSC.

Unpredictable Spring! It was dry, calm and 31°C yesterday, and today it's wet, windy and will struggle to reach 16°C. I prefer today's weather to yesterday's, though. It's because of Melbourne's location just on the north end of Port Philip Bay: changes in wind direction can completely change the weather.
It's a bit like that on the Manchester Riviera
