It's a bit like that on the Manchester Riviera
Just now, it started hailing. Tuesday is expected to reach high 20s, then back below 20 the day after, then high 20s again by Friday. My head's spinning...

Blimey! I saw a lot of kid in costumes roaming about, with their Mum's while driving down the road on my way to lesson. Not 200 of them though.
On the way home there were a lot of adults in fancy dress, falling out of pubs and staggering about in the middle of the road. It was only 10.30pm so I figured that they were just lightweights.

Just been opening today's post. We are having a new shower room floor which is being fitted on the 17th & 18th November as the one we have is unhygienic and doesn't meet current standards. ^_^
Lots of 'grown ups' in fancy dress at the gig last night too, some were really good.

Seems they go to town when they- go to town on Halloween.

Theory dressed up too & had to walk passed the toilets & 'general population' after their set (don't know why).

Train got held up in @stephec town of Walkden after one bloke punched another in the fizzog in our carriage, he was ejected from the train by guards.

Think of the beauty of your area for your rides when it is nice, that will make up for the wild fluctuations in weather types.

Been reading Cyclist a lot (subscriber) which I believe is an Aussie publication (with adaptations for U.K market) & they always have ride out maps & reports, I think it's in a Cafe Culture type section & regularly fills me with envy.

We had a great night last night, celebrating Jannies mum and dads 60th wedding anniversary. One of the highlights is that they got a card from the Queen of Denmark.

Jannies dad will be out on his road bike this morning trying to beat his personal time somewhere :O)
:hello: Morning.

Coffee or Tea ? :cuppa:

Didn't know there was a Queen of Denmark (or at least remember), & I thought I was quite good on geography etc, you live & learn.

Morning all.
Trying to use the interweb with a puppy curled up on my lap & demanding attention.

Lots to do today, including getting a ride in if the weather forecast is correct (17 degrees and sunny according to my phone).
I'm going to trawl Amazon market place for some Eric Johnson CDs if the pup lets me.

I've been looking on Amazon recently also, for the Fantaghiro fantasy series. It comes in 5 parts, but as far as I can see, only parts 1, 2 and 4 have English subtitles . If any of you know how I can get an English subtitled version of parts 3 and 5, I would be very happy.

Ebay?? I had to really scour about trying to find Buck Godot stuff for a Christmas pressie a couple of years ago. I got a couple off Ebay, a couple off Amazon and a couple off a fan site.
