I travelled to West Yorkshire and back, I suppose that's something, although on an overcrowded Cross-country train without a window to look out through and no seat to sit on I spent most of the journey clinging on to my bag and checking my phone for signal and time

Sounds about right. You see them rammed going through New St

A very quick, Morning All, :hello:

Can't stop, set off for work this morning & tick, tick, tick, tick - I thought "I know that sound" got out of car & checked all 4 tyre, inching forwards bit by bit, then as sure as eggs are beefburgers I found it, great big bolt & washer straight through my back tyre :cursing:

so car has been left a 1/4 mile from home & I am now searching for a replacement, fitted at a very local garage or by a mobile fitter.

£200 a tyre for OE tyres so won't be having those.

It's a really odd tyre size too, had I known when I bought it, I would not have upgraded to the bigger wheels & stuck with the stock size.

Now I have resorted to going for a different profile to reduce the cost.

When this car is paid for (about 2 1/2 yrs) I am getting shut of it & buying a sensible Estate car (for the bikes) with sensible wheels & changing my name to Captain Sensible
