Had been home an hour at the time of your post.

Bus took nearly an hour, would have been 1/2 hour in the car. Since then I went to visit a couple of garages local & local-ish, none could help at the time, so Thurs it will be when Mobile Guy - Hindley's very own Tyre SuperHero comes to fit 2 new tyres.

This has upset the gaffers as I now can't get to or work for 05.44

I have never seen a map/GPS feature on here, anyway my Avatar/Username says I am from The Dark Side of the Moon (nearly put Moob there) ...

Dark Side of the Moob
But it uses the phone masts for location purposes

That'll be why you were'nt moving.

What about the "work supplied bike". That should be able to get you there, and impress the gaffers!

Nice lazy day today. I couldn't be bothered to finish painting the bathroom so I didn't.
Last lazy day for a bit. I've got grooming wwww tomorrow, Weds and Thurs. I also start my new job on Thursday with 4 or 5 hours getting used to new software, meeting the troops, working out what to say to potential schools clients sort of day. Starting part time properly on the 10th then, hopefully, full time mid January.
Going to be strange having a proper (ish) job for the first time in a decade.

You must relate how that feels, I have completely forgotten...:giggle:
I am going to work with my guitar teacher. Not teaching but doing all the adminny type stuff that he doesn't have time for nowadays. Chasing new business too, coordinating peripatetic teachers and schools, talking to new customers and so on and so forth. It'll be fun. Still self employed though. I don't know if I could be a proper employee.

I've sent my CV off, experimentally, a few times. I did a week of admitting I had MS, a week of not. Guess which week garnered the most interview requests. It's against the law to discriminate on disability. Easy enough to ignore applicants you don't want though.

Hubster did much the same thing but admitting to the renal failure. Nobody was interested when he mentioned the renal failure but got replies when he didn't. He had to fess up at interview time though. Guess what, he didn't get offered a job. I reckon that so many employers are missing out on wonderful employees if they'd look past health issues and be a bit flexible.

Happily, my guitar teacher knows that I get depressed from time to time, he also knows that i have a bloomin' useless right wrist. He also is somewhat impressed that it's mobility has improved since I've been playing. His entire team of teachers are made up by ex pupils or people that he's played with over the last few years.
I'd never get a proper job if I had to mention the state of my wrist to an employer, let alone the depression. I am looking forward to the challenge.
