Fast day?
I can't last 5 hours...
Maybe if I could drop a hundredweight or two I'd get quicker:thumbsup:
I don't fast all day. I have a really light breakfast - as late as I can - then a light-ish lunch, salad or something then a 300 cal tea. Beans on toast is great, sticks to your ribs. I get peckish late evening so I often have a spoonful of bovril in hot water. Hardly any calories and quite yummy.

As the Bob finishes off swiss roll and trifle..
I may try something like that...
wash it all down with lots of :cuppa: ( black tea - Twinings Everyday only)
I sometimes try not to eat after 6pm, the operative word is try.
Best of on your attempt to lose.

I find that the 5:2 is just about effortless. I'm not the only 5:2er on here, in fact it was one of our wonderful forumers that put me on to 5:2 in the first place. I've shifted a stone without trying. I just remind myself, when I feel all nibbly in the evening, that I can eat what I like tomorrow. I always think that I'm going to stuff out on breakfast the morning after a fast but never ever do. I often feel extra well the day after a fast day too and rarely overeat on them.
