Morning all. No fry up for me thanks, quick bowl of muesli then off to the garden to refine our 'Bug Hotel' with the boy. He's more interested in the planning of it than the hard work of the building though, there may be a stirring of Architect in there...A coffee first though, these things have to be carefully considered for a bit:cuppa:

hear you say that

My parents were born in Counties that are now in the ROI but at a time when the whole of Ireland was under British rule. In my childhood I often spent my summers at family homes in the ROI and we were known by the locals as 'The Black Northerners'.

Wny not have bacon, eggs and sausages instead...
I don't fancy cat:rolleyes:

I love a nice puss.......erm...I like cats?

We've adopted one, just waiting for the inspector's home visit now.

A friendly little girl called Phobe who's about two years old, tabby coloured with a white belly and legs, she's only a dainty little thing. First thing she did when I picked her up was to climb onto my shoulders and curl up round me like a scarf, she apparently likes lots of petting and attention.

I liked the look of a large black male called Salem, he was a giant with big fangs and claws, but my wife didn't want a black cat called Salem, I thought it best not to make the obvious joke.

The nationality is one thing that's always puzzled me, but not one I've ever asked while I've been there for fear of offending someone.

As it's not part of Great Britain, and not part of the Republic, how would people answer if they were asked what their nationality was?

Is it Irish, or Northern Irish?
