More heavy rain approaches. I really got lucky during my dry 1 hour commute to work . I now have coffee #2 and muffin, so I'm right .
Once this rain passes, the rest of the week will be drier, and in fact it will reach about 30°C by Friday.

It pays to just state the actual reason, and the powers that be can't argue with that and leave you alone. Just make a note of the reason for any delays and if you get questioned tell them. As I said they can't argue with facts
