I am sure that MrsD doesn't think that you are sponging for a second.Well done you @Saluki . I'm not even looking, I'll just muddle by, sponging off MrsD...I'm low maintenance anyway, apart from the truck load of patience she must have...
I wasn't looking. We had a conversation about what 'Teach' wanted to do in the future and I gave it some thought then had a chat with him the following week about how I thought that he was missing a trick and thinking too small. Then outlined what I thought that he could think about. He said that he'd need a secretary or similar and I suggested that what he really needed was a bored businesswoman who was looking for a change of direction and a challenge. A couple of hours later, in the middle of my 30 minute lesson, he had this brilliant idea about me working with him and doing all the businessy stuff while he taught and did session work.

Have you never been to any sort of sci-fi convention and seen the space turnips? Plump folks in shiney lycra? I just want to be a bit thinner - more parsnip shaped than turnip shaped

I had the dubious pleasure of working at one or two and noticed that I was the same shape as some of the turnips. Cycling lycra not shiney and silver but it does show every cream bun that you've ever eaten.Instant fix...don't wear shiny lycra..failing that..avoid sci fi conventions!
