Evening all.
I was awake half the night with toothache. I had a filling fall out while we were moving, then 2 days later a filling on the other side of my mouth came out. I have registered with my local dentist but, as the teeth were not giving me any issues, I didn't make an appointment. This last couple of days have been a nightmare and I've been living on painkillers.
I popped to the dentist today, to make an appointment to sort the painful tooth out, and a whole family had 'no showed' on them so he could see me there and then. Dentist is called Jack and he is lovely. He sorted out the painful tooth with a nice new filling and has put a temporary filling on the tooth that doesn't hurt. I have quite a fear of dentist but this chap was lovely and very un-scary. I've another appointment for next week for a proper check-up and to sort out the temp filling to a perm filling. I don't feel worried about it at all.
The downside to all this is no tea for another hour or so. Injection numbing thingy should wear off somewhere around 8pm and then I can eat. Something soft he says so I thought that I'd get a nice chow mein as I have a freezer full of crunchy fish fingers, and other 'hard' food.
