Tea? (Part 3)

Evening all

Had a good day today, took my Mam for a flu jab & then to Aldi for a few bits..

she still can't do much following her comlete bowel removal so the 3 of us are doing a bit each here 'n' there to help.

While in Aldi I accidently spotted some stuff for me, as you do, we also witnessed a chase by female staff after a male shoplifter who'd legged it, apparently it was a 3 bell'er (that's what they called it).
Tealief was apprehended/cornered by staff & gave up we later found out.

Later on after coffee & chatting at my Mams I revisited Aldi on my way home to pick up those accidently spotted bits for me.

2x pairs winter cycling gloves (for work & home use not cycling) I am getting some higher end ones for cycling.

1x tub of Twinnings Swiss Chocolate for drinks (want little Miss C to have a try)

2 bottles of Hobgoblin
2 bottles of Wychwood Pumpking Ale
4 large bottles of San Miguel

1 box of deep fill mince pies (first of the season).

Did well to put back another near £50, of stuff inc, 1x neck warmer/snood & 1 set of Merino base layers (only as I wasn't convinced of the leg length)

& 1 novelty talking U.S.A Cop biscuit cookie jar that says "step away from the cookie jar" (it's eyes & mouth move & everything).

Got to go back & get one asap..

Sure is windy out there today. At least the rain stayed away, did 48 miles with the regular Thursday crowd, strange how there don't seem too be many volunteers to come on to the front into a raging headwind and are happy to leave me and my mate on the front

By the time we were getting near the cafe, we were having a rest, and as you say a couple made a break for the cafe, but I had the energy to jump on their wheels and get to the cafe at the same time
Thats a normal for them so you know whats coming. Actually p****s you off when they do that. In The summer when I am am one of the nice bikes some of us conspire to put the hammer down and throw some of that lot out the back, and its quite funny to watch them turn up when we are sat down enjoying our coffees
