Details Mr Centurion?
And not about bashing your bishop
Inaugural event was 2013, last year I went to show some support only as a speccy on one of the steepest climbs in Ramsbottom that if I remember correctly hits 22>24% & has been used for the National Hill Climbing Championship before.

It also passes through Tottington.

2015 event goes from Smithills Hall Bolton out to Darwen & Chorley taking in the climbs of 'The Rake' & Anglezarke.

Two routes available, the "It'll Be Reet" at 35m & the one I want to do the "Ecky Thump" at 60 miles.

Not big distances but plenty of lumps :okay:

Yes, if you remember 15 is the new 16!
Wasn't 14 the new 16 though?

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
They have some very fine stuff but the language on the packets is as hard as the other one they use up your way!

I must confess, its a very odd place indeed. A lot of the writing seems to be in some eastern european language, quite possibly polish?

And as well as selling rather cheap and nasty things like trainers, they were selling kilts?:rofl::rofl::rofl: . There were 2 kilts for sale. I nearly peed myself when i saw that.:laugh: . I won't be going to liddl again you won't be surprised to hear.

Really cold wind here and just having another little hailstorm. I will go on the rollers again later, as I have been doing most days lately.
Me too... trying to get rid of some excess me but not wanting to challenge the 25mph wind...I can wrap up and man up so far but the turbo session in kitchen is much safer. Still burns the calories off but not a pleasant pastime though.

That's funny - the one up our way sells leeks and daffs. Do you think they mixed up the shipments??

Mr Fu, you should hang your head in shame, pretending to be drunk, when you were really hassling Mo for cake

Mmmmmm, that looks good. Would go down nice with the cuppa I've just made. Just made it back my walk before the sleet came back on.

Wish that was me in for the rest of the day but have to go over to the next village and pick up Dad to take him to the docs. He has been told that he can't drive any more.......his last little bit of independence gone but for the best really as he was getting a bit dangerous! Just wish health centres could organise appointments better as he's back again tomorrow morning for a diabetic check up with the nurse.
