I must confess, its a very odd place indeed. A lot of the writing seems to be in some eastern european language, quite possibly polish?

And as well as selling rather cheap and nasty things like trainers, they were selling kilts? . There were 2 kilts for sale. I nearly peed myself when i saw that. . I won't be going to liddl again you won't be surprised to hear.

What's occuring ??

Greek songs, Greek language lessons, Cyprus forums, more Greek songs. These days I'm listening to a lot of music by a guy called Βασίλης Παπακονσταντίνου who is a leftist rocker from mainland Greece. I've learned a couple of his songs for my karaoke nights this Spring and the track below is one I'll be working on for the Winter trip.

Inaugural event was 2013, last year I went to show some support only as a speccy on one of the steepest climbs in Ramsbottom that if I remember correctly hits 22>24% & has been used for the National Hill Climbing Championship before.

It also passes through Tottington.

2015 event goes from Smithills Hall Bolton out to Darwen & Chorley taking in the climbs of 'The Rake' & Anglezarke.

Two routes available, the "It'll Be Reet" at 35m & the one I want to do the "Ecky Thump" at 60 miles.

Not big distances but plenty of lumps
